Stephania Blum “Never Look Back”

STEPHANIA BLUM – ART PORTFOLIO

About the Artist

Stephania Blum is a Mexican artist based in Miami and the creator of Hyperrealism Back Iconography, a signature style portraying women from the back, rich in symbolism, narrative, and emotion. Her work explores identity, resilience, and migration, combining traditional and digital media. Since childhood in Mexico City, art has been her most intimate language.

In 2014, she created her collection Never Look Back, a series reflecting the courage of women and the struggle to move forward without fear of the past. Her works tell stories of resilience, transformation, and the strength of those who carry their histories on their skin.

⸻

Artistic Statement

“My art is a window into transformation, strength, and memory. Through my pieces, I seek to tell stories of women who challenge their destinies, of migrants who carry their history on their skin, and of artists who, like me, find in art a space of resistance. I paint with the conviction that each piece must have soul and purpose, inspired by great figures such as Vermeer and Yayoi Kusama, who have taught me the importance of depth in every artwork.”
